Traveling Treats: Established Caterer Gets Updated and Goes On-line
After almost 20 years of successful catering in Jacksonville, Florida, Traveling Treats decided to keep pace with the times and enter the World Wide Web. By doing so, they sought to broaden their audience, as well as create an easy access point for their current clients. Although owner Cilla Whitcher wanted to retain her established name and logo, she wanted a fresh interpretation.
With a comprehensive listing of services and categories, their new site allows users to: self-select food choices for home delivered food, find pricing information on party catering, see a complete array ofSweetTreats2Go and understand the unique offerings that only Traveling Treats can provide.
We translated their brand into an online experience, refreshed their graphic identity, developed a social media presence on the web and developed a sense of branding continuity that is consistent from printed materials to online content and even outdoor banner design.
Most importantly, we established an on-going relationship with a knowledge seeking business owner who continues to add client friendly ideas to her business plan. Her social media interaction reinforces her site’s strategy for delivering information in all areas of food delivery while reflecting a specific brand of down home hospitality.
A New U Healing Arts Center: Transformed From the Inside to Accommodate the Outside
A New U Healing Arts Center was experiencing growth and demands on their personnel that was far more complex than their internal infrastructure. They needed to not only broadcast this change in a format that was compelling, both visually and in content, but also needed to take into consideration how to build awareness for continued growth. In addition, they needed to address their internal mechanisms necessary to manage multiple therapists and a huge selection of services and packages.
We defined their priorities through a needs assessment analysis and presented a plan that addressed a comprehensive business identity makeover. This resulted in the redesign of the existing corporate logo on all printed material and a completely new cost-efficient website with SEO integration.
We also implemented online business solutions software which consolidated the personnel payment center, account receivables and payables, online patient scheduling, self-serve patient appointments, class registration, staff and client information management, integrated payment processing and built-in email marketing. It also encourages other user-generated content on the website that both engages visitors and builds deeper relationships with them — promoting the mission of the company: Transforming Pain, Changing Lives.
Florida Small Business Development Center at UNF: Meeting a Need in the Community
Florida Small Business Development Center at the University of North Florida identified a need in the Jacksonville business community. They wanted to increase the overall social media consciousness, build social networking awareness and educate the small business community.
We developed a new internal division, newmediajax to meet the needs of social media education and execution in the city. This unique opportunity of partnering with SBDC allowed us to move forward and develop a unique, user friendly program called: Jack & the Social Media Beanstalk – 10 magic Beans to Enhance Your Business, to educate small business owners. The program was designed to provide a working demonstration of that value — a social media tutorial on how to use this cutting edge marketing tool to achieve their goals — online.
